  • Build Confidence from Day One - theory and application together so that knowledge sticks

Testimonials from Previous Participants

“I started this course not confident at all. Still studying, still figuring out how to work with large datasets from an actuarial perspective. I finished it very confident. The webinars were what stood out most. Real feedback, real questions answered, an expert working through the material with you. Rescaling premiums went from something that intimidated me to something I can actually do. It exceeded my expectations. The webinar format alone makes it worth it.”

Jayeshdeep Mor, Student, UNSW

“The data cleaning assignment was the part that surprised me most. It surfaces issues in real data that just don't come up in formal study, the kind of things you only find by working through a genuinely dirty dataset. Rescaling and data cleaning were where I improved most, and both came to life through the assignment work. If you want to understand how group pricing data actually behaves, not just how it's supposed to behave, the assignments are worth the price of entry on their own.”

An Pham, Actuarial Analyst, Zurich Financial Services

“I came in wanting to price group insurance confidently and efficiently. Data cleaning and rescaling were the gaps I knew I had. The course covered both. By the end I felt very confident and very familiar with the concepts, which was a real shift from where I started. The detail on checks required before rescaling, and how to apply them correctly, was exactly what I needed. If you're in a group pricing team and want to build the technical foundations properly, this course does the job.”

Jeffrey Lee, Actuarial Analyst, Zurich Financial Services

“Before this course I had no familiarity with group insurance pricing concepts. Rescaling was the thing I was most nervous about. The assignments put us in front of genuinely messy data, the kind you actually get on the job, not the cleaned-up version from a textbook. Working through it in Excel, spotting hidden issues and rescaling correctly, taught me more about data structure and materiality than I expected. It exceeded my expectations. If you want to know what group pricing actually looks like before you're sitting at a desk doing it, this is a good place to find out.”

Kaihao Yi, Actuarial Masters Student, UNSW

“I'd come across most of these concepts in study. Seeing them applied to real data was a different thing entirely. The course gave me concrete examples of theory I'd heard of but never actually seen in practice. My confidence and familiarity with group pricing both went from 'somewhat' to 'very' by the end. My goal going in was simply to feel more confident in group pricing. That happened.”

Sean Liu, Actuarial Analyst, Zurich Financial Services
